The mainstays of an educational institution would be its commitment to accountability, transparency, and excellence beyond academia. So, this was the foundational elements which Late Haradhan Karmakar and Late Sabita Karmakar envisioned in the walks of their lifetime – to set up an institution in a rural area that renders learning with timeless experience.

Whetted with the lifelong ideals and morals of his departed father and mentor, Mr. Soumitra Karmakar set off with this journey of bringing his dreams into reality. Over the years, Mr. Karmakar has successfully shaped up HS Memorial School as an English medium co-educational day school where traditional schooling is minced with digital teaching methods. The town side institution is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi and also, it has been granted the recognition of an independent “Home Centre” for ICSE examination.
